Join Our Team as a Traffic Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineer to join our team at OHM Advisors. As a Traffic Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing transportation systems that meet the needs of our communities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who are passionate about advancing communities. As a Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for performing traffic engineering tasks for a wide range of projects, from traffic studies to signing, pavement marking, signal design, and maintenance of traffic.

Responsibilities
  • Familiarity with industry standards and guidelines, including the Highway Capacity Manual, Highway Safety Manual, and ITE Trip Generation Manual.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as OpenRoads Designer, Microstation, and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with traffic simulation software, such as VISSIM, SIDRA, and Synchro/SimTraffic.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements
  • Ohio Professional Engineering License.
  • Progressing towards licensure or possessing a PE license in the State of Ohio.
  • 5 years' experience in traffic engineering.
