Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Winder Operator to join our team at American Packaging Corporation. As a Winder Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our winding machines, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain winding machines to produce high-quality products
  • Set up and adjust machines to meet production requirements
  • Identify and resolve print defects, and splice good material together
  • Read and understand OP specs of products being run, and know packaging materials required for palletizing finished product
  • Complete daily production reports and participate in safety programs
  • Train employees new to the position and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Winder Operator or similar role
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
Work Environment

As a Winder Operator at American Packaging Corporation, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to vibration.
