We are seeking a highly skilled Winder Operator to join our team at American Packaging Corporation. As a Winder Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our winding machines, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain winding machines to produce high-quality products
- Set up and adjust machines to meet production requirements
- Identify and correct print defects, and splice good material together
- Read and understand OP specs of products being run, and know packaging materials required for palletizing finished product
- Complete daily production reports and participate in safety programs
- Train employees new to the position and perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous Dr Winder experience a plus
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
