**Your Contribution**

As part of the Fleet Operations team, you will ensure the seamless functioning of Aclima's continuous, vehicle-based data collection efforts. In the role of Fleet Operations Supervisor, you will oversee teams of drivers operating from various locations. Your responsibilities will include managing daily operations for drivers and vehicles to meet our ambitious data collection objectives. Collaboration with colleagues in Fleet Operations, Hardware Operations, and People Operations will be essential, and we are eager to incorporate your innovative insights into our processes and management strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ **Driver Oversight:** Take ownership of the well-being and performance of your teams. Conduct interviews and training for new drivers. Monitor driver performance and provide coaching, discipline, and recognition as needed. Manage time card approvals and time-off requests.

+ **Performance Analysis:** Compile information for the Fleet Manager, offering insights into team performance, progress towards objectives, risks, and areas for enhancement.

+ **Safety Collaboration:** Work closely with the Safety Manager to guarantee the secure operation of vehicles.

+ **Vehicle Maintenance:** Ensure that vehicles are properly maintained and cleaned, supported by a Fleet Support Technician who handles many of the practical, in-field tasks.

+ **Data Collection Coordination:** Collaborate with Hardware Operations to confirm that data collection instruments are fully functional and that any failures or bugs are documented and resolved.

+ **On-call Participation:** Engage in Dispatch on-call rotations (via phone), which may extend beyond standard business hours.

+ **Additional Duties:** Undertake other responsibilities as assigned, including support for special events.

**Qualifications**

+ Minimum of 3 years of direct management experience in a relevant field.

+ Proven experience and enthusiasm for mentoring and developing team members.

+ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a predominantly digital/remote environment.

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands effectively.

+ A relentless commitment to operational improvement.

+ Clean driving record (no points in the last 3 years).

+ Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.

This position currently offers a flexible work arrangement, allowing for remote work or office presence, with regular in-person responsibilities throughout the region. There may also be opportunities for travel to support the launch of new locations.
