Position Summary:
Midland Tool & Supply is looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to support its expanding operations. This role demands a high level of analytical capability, effective communication, and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Accurately process vendor invoices utilizing a 3-way match system.
2. Handle credit card transactions with precision.
3. Reconcile vendor statements to maintain accurate records for both the company and its suppliers.
4. Monitor the Accounts Payable inbox for vendor inquiries.
5. Engage with vendors to clarify account statuses.
6. Address discrepancies in invoices and collaborate with relevant parties for resolution.

Additional Duties:
Assist in month-end accounting procedures.
Identify opportunities for enhancing the efficiency of the Accounts Payable process.
Participate in cross-training within the accounting department as required.

Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
- Exceptional analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to foster positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
- Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with ERP systems.
- Preferred: Two or more years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance roles.
- Educational background: Associate or Bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
