Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role is to drive and optimize profitable sales in project business for Sonepar by planning, organizing, and executing projects on schedule while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Assume complete project accountability following the quotation phase, including comprehensive management of customer orders, ensuring adherence to specifications, resolving all customer or vendor disputes on behalf of the company, and overseeing the accurate completion of project documentation. Address all disputes that arise during the project lifecycle. Collaborate with customers, vendors, and other Sonepar departments to proactively resolve issues. Manage customer orders from the moment the purchase order is confirmed through to final billing, expediting shipments, overseeing weekly shipping schedules, processing change orders, handling product returns, resolving freight claims, and reconciling project billings upon completion. Responsible for developing and refining processes to meet project demands and customer expectations, including but not limited to project progress reporting, quality assurance updates, documentation, and adjustments to change orders. Continuously enhance processes that improve the customer experience. For staged projects, oversee the DTS process in alignment with customer expectations and project timelines. Collaborate closely with customers and warehouse teams to anticipate and plan for material receipts and deliveries while resolving any issues. This includes receiving and organizing materials in the warehouse. Independently lead project completion, managing internal and external stakeholders, company clients, and third-party vendors, and fostering vendor relationships. Upon project completion, prepare a project recap and conduct a meeting with relevant parties to evaluate the project and discuss outcomes and areas for improvement. Promote fair and transparent dealings with suppliers. Manage vendor relationships to benefit Sonepar, our clients, and the suppliers. Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to remain informed and enhance industry knowledge. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Two-year certificate or degree from a college or technical school; or 3-5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced project management capabilities. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Solid decision-making skills with the capacity to negotiate and solve problems. Ability to work with flexibility and adaptability to various workplace situations and expectations. Capability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively across departments. Proficient Vendor Management skills.
