We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Department Assistant to provide vital administrative support to our golf course maintenance team at Troon Golf.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incoming phone calls, welcome visitors, distribute and send mail, and monitor outgoing mail.
  • Track employee attendance, manage work hours, and handle vacation and sick leave requests.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Agronomy to develop and review operational plans.
  • Keep accurate records of building keys and their associated personnel.
  • Compose, type, and file various documents and reports as required.
Qualifications:
  • Necessary skills include telephone experience and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management software.
  • The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills and be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions, both verbally and in writing, while fostering positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Bilingualism in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
