The Role

We're seeking a skilled iOS app engineer to join our world-class team and help build the next iteration of Ramp's mobile app. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll design, build, and launch new products, establish and influence engineering processes, and work closely with product and business teams to drive customer success.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new features for Ramp's iOS app
  • Establish and influence engineering processes, tools, and systems
  • Code review, set engineering standards, mentor, and own quality
  • Work with other engineers to build backing services for the app
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to plan and identify key features
  • Work with product and business teams to understand customer feedback and drive product improvement
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in mobile development
  • Proficiency in Swift for iOS development
  • Knowledge of iOS UI components and the iOS Developer Platform
  • Experience contributing to at least one mobile app and/or several features that reached a large number of users
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft
  • Drive to learn new technologies and adapt to different situations
  • Strong understanding of mobile design patterns and best practices
  • Understanding of security best practices for mobile apps
