Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Receptionist to join our team at Perimeter Behavioral Hospital. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage the visitor log, ensure proper screening, and maintain a clean and organized lobby area.
  • Assist the Assessment and Referral Department as needed, and provide administrative support to the hospital team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of packages and mail, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Collaborate with the hospital team to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of front desk or receptionist experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
  • Successful completion of BLS and Handle with Care certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to work a full week of hospital orientation, and be available to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
