Mathematics Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach mathematics courses at Virginia Western Community College. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field, with a strong commitment to teaching and learning.

• Teach college-level mathematics courses on the Virginia Western campus
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
• Maintain currency in teaching disciplines and trends in community college education
• Provide excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Work with students of varying abilities from diverse backgrounds

• Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field
• At least 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics courses
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work with students of varying abilities from diverse backgrounds

• Doctorate degree in Mathematics
• Teaching experience at the college level
