Job Description

Job Summary:

Regency Transportation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate all warehouse activities, ensuring seamless operations and optimal supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Management: Manage and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials, to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze, modify, and implement efficient and effective department processes, policies, and procedures to improve supply chain performance.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain strict inventory control, ensuring accurate and timely shipments and receipts.
  • Safety and Compliance: Enforce established safety guidelines, promote a safe workplace, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and motivate warehouse staff, manage schedules and workflow, and provide day-to-day guidance and oversight.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish and maintain professional communication with vendors, and work effectively with various teams and committees.
  • Financial Management: Develop, implement, and monitor department budget, manage expenses within approved budget constraints, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify, document, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, and maintain a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in a related field or equivalent.
  • Experience: Two to four years related experience or equivalent.
  • Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, Microsoft, and Acellos; strong inventory control skills; knowledge of warehouse operations best practices; demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates.
  • Personal Qualities: Commitment to excellence and high standards; excellent written and oral communication skills; strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow; versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
