We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services in Sacramento. This role offers a competitive salary of $24 - $25 per hour, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Role

In this position, you will work one-on-one with children with Autism, helping them develop social skills, communication skills, and reducing repetitive or restrictive behaviors. You will also document child progress and milestones, and follow behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Responsibilities
  • Implement behavioral interventions to support children with Autism
  • Document child progress and milestones
  • Collaborate with BCBA's to implement behavior change plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for working with children with special needs
  • Strong communication skills
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
