Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. As a Psychiatrist on the On-Track Program, you will provide direct psychiatric care to participants and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychiatric care to participants, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with the On-Track team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct regular follow-up sessions with participants to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss participant progress and develop strategies for improvement.
- Document participant progress and treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with primary care and other medical specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
- Respond to participant emergencies and crises in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
Qualifications:
- Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry.
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine.
- Completed residency training in an accredited program in Psychiatry.
- License to practice medicine in the State of New York.
