We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neuro Med/Surg team at Grandview Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, providing technical support and maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
- Administer medications and perform various patient tests within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand their conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Associate's degree in Nursing and current RN licensure.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a Neuro Med/Surg unit.
Grandview Medical Center is a 434-bed regional referral center and tertiary-care facility, accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). We offer a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, including Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, Women's Health, Mental Health, Digestive Diseases, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Rehab, Sports Medicine, and Emergency Care. Our medical staff consists of over 600 physicians representing 30 specialties and subspecialties.
