About the Role

As a Neuro Med/Surg Registered Nurse, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex medical and surgical needs. You'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
  • Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing and an active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Familiarity with standard nursing concepts, practices, and procedures.
