Job Summary

The Warehouse and Receiving Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of warehouse and receiving processes and personnel to support various functions, including the movement of supplies and materials on the production line. Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the storage and movement of materials within a facility, ensuring proper material handling equipment and resources are available to complete tasks on schedule and safely.
  • Plan and manage warehouse space utilization to optimize storage capacity and minimize waste.
  • Maintain accurate raw material and finished goods inventories, and manage material flow within the facility to support production needs.
  • Support the cycle count program to ensure accurate inventory balances and identify areas for improvement.
  • Unload deliveries to the facility, inspect materials for quality, and ensure received materials match purchase orders.
  • Safely handle and stock material from pallets or bins, and log part numbers and quantities for accurate tracking.

Requirements

  • University degree and 1 year of suggested minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6 years of suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extended experience with MRP and/or ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to safely operate hand pallet jacks.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to organize work, meet deadlines, and work with accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
