Job Summary

The Clinical Neuropsychologist position at Stony Brook University is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive neuropsychological services to individuals across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, score, and interpret neuropsychological assessment measures
  • Develop and write comprehensive reports based on assessment results
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct interviews and consultations with patients and families
  • Provide psychotherapy and/or family support groups as related to neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders
  • Participate in departmentally based research programs
  • Supervise graduate students in psychology and postdoctoral fellows
Qualifications
  • PhD, PsyD, or equivalent degree in psychology from an accredited institution
  • Completion of a neuropsychology fellowship
  • Licensed or eligible to transfer license to practice psychology in New York state
  • Primary training in lifespan neuropsychology
  • Eligibility for board certification through the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology, the American Board of Neuropsychology, or the American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology
