Position Overview:

This role is structured to prepare you for advancement to a District Controller position within our organization. To understand our company culture, please explore our website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly financial closing activities by preparing financial statements for assigned operational sites.
  • Conduct reconciliation of all general ledger accounts.
  • Analyze significant financial variances to budget and forecast on a monthly basis.
  • Complete a three-month financial forecast each month.
  • Perform rate analysis and review.
  • Communicate financial information effectively to business partners.
  • Manage the flow of accounting data to and from remote locations.
  • Assist with quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and reviews.
  • Participate in the annual financial budgeting process.
  • Provide training to non-financial staff on internal control compliance, accounting procedures, and financial statement reviews.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience is preferred.
  • Experience in public accounting is advantageous.
  • CPA or other professional certifications are highly desirable.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel and related accounting systems is essential.
