Dialysis Charge Nurse

Fresenius Medical Care, in partnership with iHire, is seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Charge Registered Nurse to lead our hemodialysis team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide day-to-day direction and supervision to direct patient care staff, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care in compliance with facility procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret, adjust, and complete patient care plans.
- Supervise and participate in the completion of short- and long-term care plans, ensuring patient needs are met and educational needs are addressed.
- Assume primary responsibility in emergency situations, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Monitor and supervise all patient care activity during dialysis, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of care.
- Act as a subject matter expert and resource for staff members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.)
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Minimum of 9 months of nursing experience and an additional 3 months of clinical experience in dialysis
- Supervisory or management experience preferred
- Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis
- Good communication skills - verbal and written
