About the Role

Clayco is a leading provider of integrated real estate development, architecture, engineering, and construction services. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in the Midwest.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from conceptual stages through closeout, working closely with our project team and preconstruction services to deliver high-quality solutions on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and maintain project charts of accounts, coordinate with project superintendents to develop site logistics plans, and assist in the management of subcontractors.
  • Cost Management: Oversee the submittal, change order, and pay request process, assist in generating project costs and job cost reports, and contribute to the analysis and forecasting of quarterly total cost projection reports.
  • Quality and Safety: Implement applicable safety, EEO, and affirmative action programs, participate in the project's quality process, and contribute to schedule and project close-out processes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a successful project management team, provide guidance and support to team members, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience managing construction projects, ideally design-build.
  • Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Previous experience with set-up, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
  • Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi-floor scaffolding.
  • Ability to lift objects at least 50lbs.
