The Medical Oncology Nurse Coordinator role at Reston Hospital Center is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse to join our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in medical/surgical settings to coordinate patient care and lead our nursing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to create a culture of teamwork and improved outcomes.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure and Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • At least 2 years of experience in medical/surgical settings, preferably as a charge nurse.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
