About the Role
The Privacy Compliance and Operations Counsel will serve as an ambassador for Privacy by Design throughout VF and its brands, conducting training sessions and guiding teams on various projects involving consumer or employee personal information. Key responsibilities include developing and executing policies, workstreams, strategies, and tactics for the Privacy Program, advancing multiple privacy program workstreams and projects simultaneously, identifying requirements of applicable data protection laws and regulations, and communicating with stakeholders.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute comprehensive privacy policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance multiple privacy program workstreams and projects.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide guidance on privacy best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and partners.

Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school.
  • 8+ years of relevant legal experience in data protection and privacy compliance.
  • Strong understanding of applicable data protection laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $144,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on experience.
