Senior Technical Program Manager, Device Software Development

Job Summary
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will play a key role in automating the process for launching new Amazon products such as Echo and Alexa-enabled devices, Fire TVs, Kindle eReaders, and Fire Tablets around the globe. You will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products. In this role, you will:
- Define, design, and deliver software applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop product requirements and overall product roadmap.
- Drive the implementation and delivery of products. Collaborate with multiple agile engineering and design teams to coordinate, prioritize and deliver to an aggressive roadmap. Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams.

We're the people behind Alexa, Kindle, Fire Tablets, Fire TV, Echo, Astro, Luna, Ring, and Project Kuiper. We invent and reinvent ground-breaking products and features, taking them from concept to launch and beyond. Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
