Job Title: Non-CDL Driver

At F McConnell and Sons, Inc., we are seeking a reliable and experienced Non-CDL Driver to join our distribution team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to various convenience store locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely Operate Company Vehicles: Ensure the safe transportation of goods to our customers.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Properly handle and secure cargo to prevent damage or loss.
  • Verify Delivery Instructions: Follow designated routes and ensure accurate delivery of products.
  • Maintain Accurate Delivery Logs: Document all deliveries and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Interact with store personnel during deliveries and provide a positive experience.
  • Perform Routine Vehicle Inspections: Report any maintenance issues to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
  • Adhere to Traffic Laws and Company Policies: Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
  • Assist in the Warehouse: Support warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Meet the minimum educational requirement.
  • Previous Delivery Driving Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience in delivery driving.
  • Ability to Lift and Carry Heavy Items: Be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills: Demonstrate ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with store personnel.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Local Delivery Routes: Possess knowledge of local delivery routes (optional).
