About the Position
As a Senior Financial Analyst - Client & Matter Management, your primary role will involve providing financial and analytical project support for the firm and its legal professionals. You will collaborate with the firm's Executive Leadership and Finance Managers on various initiatives that demand advanced analytical and critical-thinking capabilities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating within a team to conduct ad-hoc financial analyses, generate reports, and manage special projects related to project and matter oversight.
- Applying analytical expertise and in-depth knowledge of business, finance, economics, and accounting to fulfill complex and routine requests, including client budgets and overall financial performance.
- Leveraging the Elite financial system and Business Objects to extract data, organize information, and create reports regarding client project performance for management and attorneys.
- Providing training, guidance, and mentorship to junior analysts, fostering their professional growth.
- Partnering with management and team leads to coordinate work activities, workflow, and daily operations.
- Instructing analysts in executing analysis and reporting tasks as needed.
- Facilitating administrative functions related to process optimization, documentation, data entry, cross-training, and project tracking.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
A minimum of four years of relevant analytical experience in finance, accounting, or project management, including responding to ad-hoc requests, developing analyses, and producing reports is preferred. - Experience in managing costs, fees, and budgets, along with a background in a customer-oriented role is advantageous.
