Job Summary

The Associate Director of Field Reimbursement is a key role at CSL Behring, responsible for leading the US field reimbursement teams to optimize patient access to therapy. This position requires a strong understanding of reimbursement processes and a proven track record of leadership and team management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the Field Reimbursement Teams: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the field reimbursement teams to ensure effective and efficient case level reimbursement support.
  • Develop and Implement Reimbursement Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement reimbursement strategies that support patient access to therapy.
  • Manage Budget and Resources: Oversee the budget and resources for the field reimbursement teams, ensuring effective allocation and utilization.
  • Lead Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to ensure field reimbursement managers have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality case level reimbursement support.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with patient services, patient engagement, corporate accounts, sales teams, and vendors to deliver an exceptional customer experience in supporting patient access to therapy.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Reimbursement Regulations: Stay current on reimbursement regulations and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required (business/management, healthcare discipline, or life sciences preferred). MBA or other postgraduate qualifications an asset.
  • Experience: 8+ years sales, marketing, medical, or related business operations experience. 5+ years in reimbursement support services required. Experience in delivery of patient services preferred.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve results.
  • Reimbursement Knowledge: Strong understanding of reimbursement processes and regulations, with the ability to stay current on changes and updates.
