Key Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail Loss Prevention.
- Basic knowledge of retail operations or security practices.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as per retail business requirements.
- Capability to stand or walk on the sales floor for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
- Ability to work independently.
- Comprehensive understanding of Five Below policies and procedures.
- General product knowledge in key departmental areas.
Responsibilities:
Loss Prevention and Investigations:
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure adherence to policies and procedures by all employees.
- Oversee the employee entrance, where applicable.
- Monitor all packages delivered through the employee entrance, excluding regular scheduled shipments.
- Conduct physical security inspections of the store and provide recommendations to mitigate loss.
- Perform regular patrols throughout the store.
Operations and Safety:
- Maintain a visible presence at the entrance/exit through professional and courteous interactions with customers.
- Conduct safety inspections and communicate any hazards to store management.
- Greet customers as a representative of Five Below.
