Job Title: Project Manager LandscapingJob Summary:

Federal Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager Landscaping to oversee the successful operation, scheduling, and financial management of multiple contracts valued at $3,000,000 or more. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing sites with combined contracts, preparing budgets, pricing, quality control, and other contract plans and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure quality, safe, and efficient operations are maintained at assigned contract locations according to statements of work and established costing and budget.
  2. Directly supervise Site Supervisors, Assistant Site Supervisors, or Foremen assigned to regional sites, including preparing and discussing performance evaluations, ensuring supervisory staff completes evaluations, and approving requests for vacation and sick leave.
  3. Maintain contact and positive communications with the KO COTR and tenant representatives to ensure work is being performed per contract specifications and keep them informed of any problems or schedule changes.
  4. Coordinate direct and conduct required staff training, including quality control, security, supervisory personnel, and crews, in the use of proper methods, techniques, materials, and equipment to ensure quality and safe performance of duties.
  5. Ensure the proper scheduling of employees and subcontractors to fulfill all contract requirements satisfactorily.
  6. Oversee the preparation of quality control, security, and snow plans, work schedules, and other projects schedules and reports required to fulfill the contract requirements.
  7. Conduct regular visits to all shifts at assigned contracts and submit timely reports to the Program Director of Landscape Operations.
  8. Review supply and equipment requests to ensure supplies and equipment are being used efficiently and within fiscal guidelines for the contract site.
  9. Ensure crew and staff time sheets are accurate and timely reflecting proper leave use and authorized overtime.
  10. Review uniform, mop, and equipment rental invoices to ensure accuracy.
  11. The Project Manager ensures the accuracy and timeliness of contact sheets, incident/accident reports, workers' compensation, and other required reports or records.
  12. Ensure all other corporate administrative reports, documentation, and procedures are completed as required from the contract site.
  13. Work closely with the Program Director of Landscape Services in preparing yearly budgets, department goals, and contract pricing renewal packages.
  14. Facilitate/review safety training daily.
  15. Follow up on Quality Control results and perform corrective actions.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not necessary with a minimum of ten (10) years of supervisory experience with 50 or more employees.
  • Recent experience in managing sites with combined contracts valued at $3,000,000 or more.
  • Experience in preparing budgets, pricing, quality control, and other contract plans and reports for sizeable landscaping agreements.
  • Must possess basic Microsoft Office computer skills, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Good management, oral and written communication, and people skills, experience dealing with high-level government and industry personnel, and basic computer knowledge are required.
  • Must be able to work varied hours, including evenings.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license as driving may be required.
Physical Qualifications:

The incumbent must be able to stand 50% of the work time and sit 50% and must be able to lift/carry 30 pounds and push/pull 30 pounds. These requirements are necessary to inspect work areas and carry out administrative duties.
