About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our team in Baltimore. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing a variety of transportation projects from design through construction, driving the success of engineering projects, and providing leadership and technical expertise to the Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of transportation projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, collaborating with planners, landscape architects, and other disciplines as needed
  • Develop and implement best practices and process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness
  • Mentor staff and contribute to internal professional development and training
  • Prepare schedules, budgets, and scope of services for projects
  • Support regional leader in business development and provide quality control over team deliverables
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience as a Transportation Engineer in a consulting environment or public entity
  • 5+ years as a Project Manager
  • 3+ years managing staff
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or TE (Traffic Engineer) licensure
  • Experience in active, non-motorized transportation and knowledge of project management principles, methods, and techniques
