We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Team Lead in our Endocrinology Department. Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Serve as a clinical resource person, role model, coach, and facilitator for staff and department operations.
- Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for optimal outcomes, utilizing leadership principles to mobilize the patient care team.
- Staff Development and Performance: Assist in staff competence assurance and performance development, participate in employee performance evaluations, and provide feedback.
- Operational Management: Assist with work schedules, ensure adequate coverage, handle clinical issues, and collaborate with management on fiscal matters and resource needs.
- Compliance and Quality: Conduct team meetings, maintain a positive work environment, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing from an accredited college.
- Experience: Two years in clinical discipline preferred, one year required with demonstrated clinical and leadership expertise.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in Virginia or eligibility, BSN preferred, and obtain CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications as needed.
- Skills: Computer skills required, de-escalation training for Psychiatry and Behavioral Health within four months of hire.
