We are seeking a skilled Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Travel Nurse Source. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a reputable healthcare facility in New Mexico.
Job Summary
As a Med-Surg Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. Your duties will include administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to Med-Surg patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes or concerns to physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of New Mexico
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Med-Surg RN
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
