Clinical Assistant Supervisor

About the Role
Central District Health is seeking a motivated individual to join our dedicated group of public health professionals as a Clinical Assistant Supervisor in our Women, Infants and Children (WIC) team. This position will work in our Boise office.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise clinical assistant staff and perform regular chart audits and observations.
- Write annual performance evaluations for assigned staff and set up and maintain staff schedules in the scheduling system.
- Perform paraprofessional clinical duties, including interviewing clients, gathering client data, and providing health and community program resource information.
- Describe program requirements, client rights and obligations, and provide health and nutrition information to groups and individuals.
Requirements
- Some knowledge of supervisory practices and health and nutritional needs of adults and children.
- Experience interviewing and eliciting personal information, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers, fractions, and decimals, and recording information accurately and legibly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a customer service role, collecting blood samples in a clinic setting, measuring height and weight, giving presentations to groups or conducting training sessions, and speaking, writing, and reading both English and Spanish.
