You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Develop and administer physical therapy evaluations and treatment plans for patients.
- Provide patient education and training on physical therapy techniques and exercises.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
- Supervise and mentor physical therapy students and paraprofessionals as needed.
- Physical Therapy License, Illinois Department of Professional Regulations.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy if graduate before 2002. Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy if graduate after 2002.
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association.
- Ability to lift/carry weight of up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push/pull with 50 pounds of force.
The work environment for this position involves potential risks that require the use of safety precautions, safe practices with patients, clinical and office equipment, and observation of fire and safety regulations.
