Key Responsibilities
  • Perform treatment and monitoring procedures as specified in the position-specific competencies
  • Work under the supervision of a Respiratory Therapist
  • Responsible for charting/documentation in a timely manner with licensed practitioner signature
  • Responsible for providing a comprehensive shift report regarding the respiratory care given to each assigned patient and outcomes observed
  • Responsible for communicating with providers via Doc Halo
Requirements
  • Enrolled in the Clinical portion of COOARC-accredited respiratory care educational program
  • No previous experience required
  • State of Maine Respiratory Care Trainee License
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire
