At Johns Hopkins University, we seek an experienced Imaging Specialist to support our Ophthalmic Photography department.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on the School of Medicine campus. As an Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality diagnostic medical images that aid ophthalmic personnel in patient care and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capture color retinal fundus photography, retinal fluorescein angiography, ICG angiography, slit lamp photography, and OCT/OCT-A imaging
  • Work independently at satellite locations and in external clinics as needed
  • Provide front desk coverage when required
  • Manage digital images and files, including electronic transfer and CD burning
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience with imaging or providing technician support in a clinical office setting
  • Advanced computer skills and ability to maintain certifications from ophthalmic reading centers
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $22.67-$33.35 hourly ($19.75-$35.35 HRLY), commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
