Job Summary:

The primary objective of this role is to inspect and test biological materials and tissue models to ensure they meet quality, efficiency, and productivity standards. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve any quality issues, and assist in implementing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of biological materials and tissue models to identify any defects or irregularities.
  • Document inspection results and escalate any quality issues to the Quality Engineering team.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
  • Assist in training technicians on quality procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Initiate and assist in drafting deviations, inspection plans, and reports as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to work in a controlled environment and wear personal protective equipment as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with biological materials and tissue models.
  • Knowledge of quality control software and systems.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
