Job Summary
The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with medical professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of a physician, performing tasks that cater to the personal needs and comfort of patients. The Medical Assistant must understand the needs of the practice and support our mission and values. Required registration/certification includes one of the following: American Academy of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists, American Registry of Medical Assistants, or the National Center for Competency Testing.

Requirements
2 years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a graduate degree in Medical Assisting is preferred. Certification as a Medical Assistant is required within 24 months of hire, or registration as a Medical Assistant is required within 24 months of hire.

Work Schedule
This role requires working every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Weekend requirements include working every other weekend, and call requirements are not applicable.
