Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inquiry-driven instruction in visual and ceramic arts.
  • Implement the New York State Next Generation Standards tailored for K-12 Exceptional Education programs.
  • Exercise creativity in curriculum design and content prioritization.
  • Facilitate exploration of the arts within the community alongside students.
  • Create an inclusive instructional environment that caters to diverse learning needs.
  • Ensure compliance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress through portfolios.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and partner agencies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate student records in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications: Must possess New York State Certification in Art Education (Visual Arts K-12).

Compensation: The position offers a competitive salary of $54,000, with additional credit for relevant experience and education. Comprehensive benefits are included.
