Job Title: Principal Product Applications Engineer (High Speed Interconnect Products)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Product Applications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our High Speed Interconnect Products team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to Tier 1 customers, designing and developing high-speed interconnect products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to Tier 1 customers, including architecture and low-level hardware questions and issues
  • Design and develop high-speed interconnect products, including pre-sales and post-sales support via email, phone, and customer visits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Hardware and Software Engineering, Architecture, Field Applications Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and senior management
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product definition and roadmap
  • Conduct analysis of customer architecture and requirements, including debugging of complicated issues and problems
  • Work with customers and internal employees to resolve technical issues and improve product quality

Requirements:

  • BS and a minimum of 12+ years in relevant fields with a strong track record of success, or MS in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science) and a minimum of 10+ years of related experience
  • Experience and/or knowledge in most if not all of the following areas: Applications Engineering, Architecture and Low Level Hardware/Software, Debugging of complicated problems or bugs, Hardware/software/firmware bring-up, Training of customers and/or FAEs
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, with fluency in foreign languages a plus
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently

  • Competitive annual base salary range: $141,000 - $225,000
