Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Golden Route Operations. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our hotel guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Greet and register guests, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and processed accurately.
  • Room Assignments: Assign guest rooms following current policies and procedures, ensuring optimal room allocation and guest satisfaction.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing special requests and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist other hotel departments with guest-related needs, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Mail and Package Delivery: Manage guest mail and packages as required, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service promptly to both guests and team members, exceeding expectations and building strong relationships.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in cash handling and hotel customer service is preferred.
  • Teamwork: Team or group work experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively and effectively.
  • Communication: Proficient in occupational English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills proficiency, with the ability to accurately handle cash transactions and perform calculations.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with a strong emphasis on customer service and communication skills.
  • Work Cards: Obtain and maintain necessary work cards as per company requirements.
  • Right to Work: Valid right to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting: Regularly lift and/or carry up to 15 lbs. at various levels.
  • Mobility: Regularly engage in walking, bending, reaching, twisting, squatting, and kneeling.
  • Vision and Hearing: Continuous standing, and use of vision and hearing.
Work Environment
  • Indoor Setting: Work in an indoor setting, with potential exposure to smoky and noisy environments.
