The Los Angeles Community College District is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a part-time Barbering Instructor. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise and passion for barbering with our students.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a qualified instructor to teach a range of courses within the Barbering discipline. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and inclusive educational environments that support student learning.
Responsibilities- Teach a range of courses within the Barbering discipline
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of our students
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
- Bachelor's degree or higher in any field and two years of full-time related professional experience
- Associate's degree in any field and six years of full-time related professional experience
- Barber's license
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students
