Job Summary

Golds Gyms of the Carolinas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Trainer to join our team. As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for providing customized fitness programs to our members, educating and guiding them on proper nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, resistance training, and attaining a healthier lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their fitness goals and develop personalized exercise programs.
  • Exercise Program Design: Design and implement safe and effective exercise programs tailored to the needs of specific clients and goals.
  • Client Education: Educate clients on current health and fitness issues and trends, as well as provide guidance on proper nutrition and exercise techniques.
  • Client Motivation: Motivate and encourage clients to reach their fitness goals through regular check-ins and progress monitoring.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, staff, and management to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date on the latest fitness trends, techniques, and research to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Current Nationally Recognized Personal Trainer Certification (e.g. NASM, ACSM, ACE, etc.)
  • First Aid and CPR: Current CPR/AED Certification and basic First Aid knowledge
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
