Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Nurse to join our team at Apex Healthcare Staffing. As a Regional Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple skilled nursing facilities and providing consultation services to facilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with facilities on an as-needed basis through visits, phone calls, and off-site record reviews.
  • Provide consultation during unusual or serious events, such as regulatory surveys and plan of correction periods.
  • Consult with facilities on topics such as program development, physician recruitment, referral relationships, and requirements.
Requirements
  • Must have RN License in New York.
  • Must have regional experience overseeing multiple skilled nursing facilities.
  • Must have experience in long-term care/skilled nursing.
  • Regional experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Must be knowledgeable in all current regulations and compliance.
  • Must be able to implement policies and procedures.
  • 5-7 years of DON experience required.
