Key Responsibilities:

We are in search of a Maintenance Mechanic who will be responsible for fulfilling the tasks and objectives set by the Maintenance Foreman and management team.

  • The ideal candidate will be adept at diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in plant machinery, systems, and equipment.
  • Maintain and service all production machinery, including pumps, pasteurizers, high-pressure pumps, evaporators, stills, and valves.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of auxiliary equipment such as boilers, air compressors, ammonia compressors, thermal storage units, condensers, vacuum pumps, and air conditioning units.
  • Handle chemicals necessary for the operation of support equipment.
  • Engage in the fabrication and manufacturing of equipment to meet production requirements.
  • Possess experience with 480-volt, 3-phase electrical systems, including troubleshooting motor starters and control circuits.
  • Have instrumental experience in maintenance tasks.
  • Demonstrate welding skills, including MIG and TIG processes.
  • Experience in machine shop operations and pump repairs is essential.
  • Fabrication skills are required; a Fabricator Journeyman certification is highly preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
