About the RoleThis per diem / prn nursing position is an excellent opportunity for a skilled RN to provide high-quality wound care to patients in Dover, New Hampshire. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, specific to population served.
- Follow policies/procedures, clinical practice standards pertinent to care, including emergency situations.
- Match formal knowledge with clinical events to make decisions.
- Provide competent, effective care.
- Seek validation for clinical decisions, integrate input from other clinicians for decision making.
- Prioritize and organize work appropriately to effectively meet patient needs.
- Delegate to and supervise team members based on assessment of competencies, within scope of practice to ensure appropriate implementation of care.
- Collaborate & communicate relevant patient data to appropriate persons clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing (e.g. handoffs).
- Develop teaching plan and regularly integrate teaching into patient care.
- Graduate of accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
- Registered Nursing License.
- AHA or ARC BLS.
