About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Jewish Hospital, providing exceptional care to patients with respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with chronic respiratory disease, including those with cystic fibrosis, tracheotomy, and interstitial lung disease.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in pulmonary care.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required for some units.
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
