Key Responsibilities:
As a Patient Registration Representative, your primary duties will include:
1. Ensuring accurate patient identification.
2. Collecting comprehensive demographic information.
3. Verifying insurance details and eligibility.
4. Assessing and collecting patient financial responsibilities.
5. Guiding patients to the Patient Registration Specialist for further assistance as necessary.

This role requires adherence to organizational policies regarding patient financial obligations and serves as a resource for patients and their families, clarifying hospital policies and patient rights.

Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience in a hospital registration department, physician office, healthcare insurance, or related fields.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational background.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with charity care programs and various governmental and non-governmental assistance programs.

Essential Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of insurance protocols and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics for financial calculations.
- Experience in processing financial transactions.
- Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency.
