Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Planner to join our team at WIVERSE. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the construction of our Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate the construction of HFC networks, including site selection, permitting, and material procurement.
  • Coordinate with other utilities and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Perform field engineering and ensure alternative routing delivers the most cost-effective design for construction.
  • Coordinate customer implementation activities, including site walk-throughs, node placements, and subcontract labor.
  • Negotiate and approve design or construction changes.
  • Research and review plans, gather necessary data, and list material requirements for projects.
  • Coordinate with public works personnel, developers, commercial customers, building owners, and utilities on joint trench projects.
  • Maintain workflow databases and update schedules.
  • Participate in managing and estimating cost forecasts, material planning, capital, and expense budgets.
  • Estimate construction costs, prepare budgets, and track expenses.
  • Verify serviceability, survey proposed service routing, and estimate material, construction, and labor costs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction planning, coordination, or management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
