We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Planner to join our team at WIVERSE. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the construction of our Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) networks.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate the construction of HFC networks, including site selection, permitting, and material procurement.
- Coordinate with other utilities and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Perform field engineering and ensure alternative routing delivers the most cost-effective design for construction.
- Coordinate customer implementation activities, including site walk-throughs, node placements, and subcontract labor.
- Negotiate and approve design or construction changes.
- Research and review plans, gather necessary data, and list material requirements for projects.
- Coordinate with public works personnel, developers, commercial customers, building owners, and utilities on joint trench projects.
- Maintain workflow databases and update schedules.
- Participate in managing and estimating cost forecasts, material planning, capital, and expense budgets.
- Estimate construction costs, prepare budgets, and track expenses.
- Verify serviceability, survey proposed service routing, and estimate material, construction, and labor costs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction planning, coordination, or management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
