Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer/Project Manager to become an important part of our well-established technical group in our Sarasota, FL office. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical understanding and application of engineering principles and practices to a variety of multi-discipline civil projects throughout SW Florida.

Responsibilities
  • Project engineering and management
  • Client management, including ability to make fluent presentations, and client development activities
  • Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members
  • Provide project engineering and task management; conduct collection systems modeling and design; collect and present data in reports, memos, and meetings
  • Lead design calculations and technical reports; and preparation of engineering plans and specifications for design of facilities and related infrastructure
  • Serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team
  • Work independently in addition to planning, organizing, and assisting professionals, dependent on project/task
  • Assist with training and mentoring of less experienced staff
  • Conduct planning, plan formulation and concept development
  • Assist in project permitting efforts with various regulatory and municipal entities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in civil projects, stormwater systems, water quality, storm water collection systems, and pipeline design
  • Professional Engineer registration in FL
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Project management experience is required
