We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our clinical pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in enhancing pharmaceutical services throughout our delivery system.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a departmental resource and liaison to physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other hospital personnel.
- Provide clinical expertise for the appropriate use of medications within your specialty.
- Work with Pharmacy Leadership to enhance pharmaceutical services and improve patient outcomes.
- Focus on Antithrombosis Stewardship, ensuring the safe and effective use of anticoagulant medications.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- New Mexico Pharmacy license required.
- Residency training or three years of pharmacist experience.
- Specialty certification (or eligible for testing, with certification to be obtained within 24 months of hire).
